Grades 1- 8:
Kindergarten - Children meet Mrs. Berardi at the red doors (opposite lawn).
Pre-K for All: On first-day child and one parent will meet teachers in the School Auditorium (Main Building). Parent and child activities are planned. Parent info and orientation will be provided.
Pre-K 3:
Begins Monday, 9/12/16
Grades K – 8: 7:50 AM – 2:30 PM
Pre-K for All: 8:00 AM - 2:20 PM
Pre-K 3: 8:00 AM - 2:15 PM
Early dismissal may be at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM noon depending on the faculty meeting schedule. Early dismissal for faculty meetings/conferences will be noted on the monthly school calendar. Faculty meeting dates will vary.

ARRIVAL: Please plan good morning routines so your child may be on time and ready to have a good day. Late passes will be distributed to children that arrive after 7:50 A.M. Please check handbook for consequences regarding continuing lateness. Students will use the glass doors leading to the gym to enter the school. If using the “Stop and Drop” procedure, please refer to separate letter outlining details. We will begin to open car doors at 7:30 A.M. as school begins at 7:50 A.M. for grades K – 8. They will proceed to the auditorium where they will be met by their teachers.
DISMISSAL – Students Gr. K- 4 are dismissed to the side patio area (red doors). Gr. 5-8 will be dismissed from the glass doors. Parents should enter only through the Castleton Avenue driveway, park your car, retrieve child/children and exit Cary Avenue or North Burgher Avenue. Children will be dismissed only to parents or parent authorized persons written on the school emergency contact form. There may be no Fax or phone requests.
PARKING
Please PARK in the school parking lot away from the building during dismissal. *Please note that the church parking lot is available for parking, especially those dropping off and picking up students in Pre-K for All . Children will be able to walk from the dismissal doors safely if there are no moving vehicles in the dismissal/patio areas. Double parking or parking on the side of the building is prohibited. No exceptions. Please respect parking lot rules for the safety of all.
TUITION/FEES
Tuition accounts and school fees must be up-to-date before the first day of school.

LUNCH
Students in K - 8 may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch from Nucci’s beginning Friday, 9/09/16. School lunch is provided daily for the Pre-K for ALL program. Students in our Pre-K 3 year-old program may purchase or bring their own lunch.
MORNING CARE/AFTER SCHOOL
Please request and complete morning care /afterschool enrollment forms if needed by Friday, 9/9/16.Mrs. Morelli will begin morning care on Monday, 9/12/16, for the students who need early arrival.
Early arrival begins at 7:00 A.M. and children may enter the school through the front entrance.
Ms. Daniella Riccobono and Ms. Jessica DeMassi will share supervising the afterschool program beginning on Monday, 9/12/16, 2:30 - 6:00 P.M.
NYC SCHOOL BUS: The first day of school bus service will be Monday, 9/12/15.
Parents are required to submit a school bus service request form to obtain service. School bus service will be assigned by the Office of Pupil Transportation to students eligible for NYC school bus. There have been some changes in bus stops; students will get updated information on the first day of school.
STUDENT MTA METRO CARDS: Parents must submit the school bus service request form in order to request a MTA Student Metro Card for an eligible student. Metro cards will be distributed to eligible students the first full week of school.
